2012/2013 School Year Admissions

The Magellan International School is currently accepting applications for children entering Pre-Primary, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in the 2012/2013 school year. Admission Process

Age guidelines for admissions during the 2012/2013 school year are as follows:
  • Pre-Primary Three: 3 years by Sep 1, 2012
  • Pre-Primary Four: 4 years by Sep 1, 2012
  • Kindergarten: 5 years by Sep 1, 2012
  • First Grade: 6 years by Sep 1, 2012
  • Second Grade: 7 years by Sep 1, 2012
  • Third Grade: 8 years by Sep 1, 2012
  • Fourth Grade: 9 years by Sep 1, 2012
  • Fifth Grade: 10 years by Sep 1, 2012
To start the admissions process you must send us the following:
  1. Completed Application Form
  2. $100 Application Fee
The Application Form and $100 Application Fee must be mailed to:

We will subsequently need to obtain a Teacher Evaluation.

After receiving the Application Form and Application Fee we will contact you to schedule a Parent Interview and Child Observation Session. These sessions last approximately 1 hour and will be used to discuss the school with parents and, in parallel, have a teacher evaluate your child(ren) to ensure appropriate developmental and academic readiness for the school program. Once this is completed the Admissions Committee makes a decision on admission and notifies the family, usually within one week.

Tuition and Fees

Upon admission to the school you will complete and sign an Enrollment Agreement and must submit the appropriate Registration Fee for your child in order to secure her place in the school. For information about Tuition schedules and other Fees due please visit the Tuition and Fees page.
