Kindergarten Teaching Assistant

Description

The Magellan International School (Colegio Internacional Magallanes) in Austin, Texas, is seeking a teaching assistant for Kindergarten. that will work in collaboration with the homeroom teacher Our rapidly growing multi-cultural school has a Spanish immersion, dual language academic program (English-Spanish) that follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) and adds Mandarin as a second language beginning in 3rd grade.

Professional Requirements

  • Bacherlor's Degree in Education or a related field
  • Must be a creative, resourceful, flexible and dynamic individual
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work in partnership with the homeroom teacher
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to participate and share ideas in planning and implementation of class activities
  • Demonstrated ability and interest to learn the Primary Years Program and its implementation in the classroom
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Complete oral fluency in Spanish
