Noche de Gala
Donation Information
The Magellan International School will host our third annual Noche de Gala on April 14, 2012 at the beautiful Bob Bullock State History Museum in downtown Austin. This year's Gala will celebrate the mission and unprecedented growth of our school with a spectacular event featuring dinner, entertainment, refreshments, raffle items, and live and silent auctions.
Noche de Gala is MIS' primary annual fundraiser. Event proceeds allow us to offer full scholarships for children who otherwise would be unable to attend our school, maintain and expand our facilities, further enhance our academic programs, and hire and retain outstanding faculty.
To help make Noche de Gala 2012 a success, we are asking each MIS family to get involved in seeking items for the live and silent auction. Here are some popular ideas that can help get your thinking started:

- Entertainment: Tickets to Major Sporting Events / Concerts
- Couples Night Out: Tickets to Performing Arts / Romantic Dinner for Two / Cultural Events
- Family Outings: Passes to Museums / Zoos / Amusement Parks
- Children's Activities: Lessons for Ballet / Karate / Music / Gymnastics/ Art
- Personal Health: Spa Treatments / Yoga / Pilates / Tennis Lessons
- Art and Collectibles: Art / Jewelry / Wine /Sport and Entertainment Memorabilia
- Combinations: Combining items often makes for the most compelling auction packages
We encourage you to contact businesses you frequent or business owners you know to solicit goods and services for donation to the auction. The sooner we get started the better, as many non-profit organizations compete for the attention and donations of local businesses. Donations may be delivered to either of the school's campuses or to any Auction Committee member. We encourage you to view the list of CONFIRMED and SOLICITED donations, and keep up to date with important event information.
