Skye McManus, Music Specialist

Skye C. McManus holds a BME and Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from Indiana State University, a MM in voice performance from Loyola University New Orleans, Kodaly levels 1 and 2 from Texas State University, and a  State of Texas standard music teaching license. Before moving to Austin, she taught voice and piano lessons in San Antonio in the Judson and Northeast school districts for two years, as well as elementary music in Judson ISD for one year. Enjoying the diversity of teaching students of different ages and backgrounds, Skye teaches both in class settings and individual instruction. 

In addition to teaching at Magellan, she teaches voice/piano/theory at The Orpheus Academy of Music and elementary music (toddlers through 5th grade) at Our Savior Lutheran School. When not teaching, Skye enjoys singing opera and studying voice lessons with Ms. Juli Wood, as well as spending time with her husband Scott.
