Skye McManus, Music Specialist

Skye C. McManus holds a BME and Piano Pedagogy Certificate from Indiana State University, a MM in voice performance from Loyola University New Orleans, a Kodaly certificate from Texas State University's Kodaly Program, and a State of Texas standard music teaching license. Ske believes that all children have the right to make music and learn about it. She spends every class building skills to enhance her students' musical experiences as well as giving them opportunities for expression, creativity, and self confidence. These skills, along with the IB learner profile, combine to create a beautiful organic ensemble experience.

In addition to teaching at Magellan, Skye teaches a variety of classes at The Orpheus Academy of Music. When not teaching, Skye enjoys singing opera and studying voice lessons with Ms. Juli Wood, as well as spending time with her husband Scott.
