Magellan Students Learn Design and Entrepreneurship

May 1, 2016 | Students in Action

Magellan students came together Sunday for an engaging afternoon learning to be entrepreneurs with Venturelab! There were activities for all kinds of young thinkers, and our students got a thorough experience of the design process. First they got to brainstorm and map out their ideas on whiteboards until they were satisfied with their concepts (and there were quite a few!). The next step was bringing them to life, and no one failed to amaze. Some sketched out their thoughts onto iPads as they moved towards making a game; others got down and dirty with provided materials to manifest their ideas into creative structures. There were a lot of proud smiles as the students finished their work, and then explained their creative process to their peers. To top it off, this was just the beginning of the learning experience! We have another free Venturelab workshop scheduled for Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. and we would love to see you there, so make sure to register for this fun and productive night at eventbrite.
