Noche de Gala

The Noche de Gala the second of two annual fundraisers each year. This is a special evening each spring where parents can take a night off from the kids, get dressed up, and enjoy a glamorous night on the town in support of Magellan.

The evening begins with a cocktail hour followed by seated dinner, the Heads or Tails game, and live auction followed by an exuberant afterparty with dancing and a live DJ.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of sponsors and donors who make this evening a success year after year. Not to be forgotten are the Gala Committee, and countless parent and teacher volunteers who each play an important role in bringing the Noche de Gala to life. Live Auction

No gala would be complete without an exciting Live Auction. Packages range from luxury vacations and exclusive experiences to high-end jewelry and artwork. It's always a competitive and exciting atmosphere, with guests bidding against each other to secure their desired item.
The Erin Defossé Inspirational Leadership Award

A special highlight of the evening is the presentation of the school's top honor - The Erin Defossé Inspirational Leadership Award. Named in recognition of the school's founder, Erin Defossé, the award recognizes that community member whose insight, leadership, service ethic and commitment have made a considerable impact in support of our school and its mission.
Online Auction

The week prior to the Gala, the entire community is invited to shop the online auction featuring exciting packages up for bids in a range of prices. Bidders can look forward to shopping for weekend getaways, beauty and wellness treatments, camps and classes, and more. Some of the most popular items are class art and Teacher Treasures.
