Sarood Baig

Sarood is a Managing Director of Eliant, a unit of Apollo Global Management – a $550 billion alternative asset manager, specializing in private equity, credit, and hybrid investment opportunities globally. At Eliant, Sarood is a Board Member of Eliant Hong Kong in addition to being a part of the leadership team. Eliant brings cutting edge technology, innovative financing solutions, and a large stable capital base to allow companies to achieve working capital benefits faster. Sarood was an early employee at Taulia, a software company that was acquired by SAP where he helped drive sales. Prior to that, Sarood was a member of FTV Capital, a leading financial services investment firm. FTV has raised over $6.2 billion and invested in companies like Xign (acq. by JPMorgan), FleetOne (acq by Wright Express), and Castle Pines Capital (acq. by Wells Fargo). Sarood began his career in Investment Banking at JP Morgan, based in New York. He holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business. Sarood and his wife are active supporters of the Magellan mission and inquiry-based approach. In his free time, Sarood enjoys swimming, playing tennis, and spending time with his young family.
