Four Houses, One School

When students enter secondary school, they are welcomed into a House, a smaller family within our larger school community. This House stays with them all the way through high school graduation, becoming a place where they find connection, encouragement, and pride. Houses give students teammates to celebrate with, friends to lean on, and a spirit of friendly competition that makes school life richer and more exciting. Together, Houses earn points not only through games and events, but also by showing strong character, academic effort, and community spirit. More than just competition, the House system is about belonging, creating bonds that strengthen our secondary school family.

Building Tradition, Building Community

The House System brings our Magellan Navigators community together through traditions that students and families look forward to each year:

Start of School Retreat - Kick off the year with an off campus 3 day retreat, building connections and House spirit
TailGators – Uniting students and teachers with other families in your House
Sports Day & Field Day – Friendly House competition on the field, complete with a spirited House Parent cheer competition
Assemblies – A chance to celebrate House pride, encourage one another, and build community
Food Drive Competition – Every fall, our Houses compete to see who can gather the most donations for a local food drive
