A Magellan education is intentionally different. Our students learn in two languages, from educators with perspectives and experience from around the world, through an internationally recognized IB framework designed to develop curious, thoughtful, globally minded learners.
Creating that experience requires investments that go beyond the basics of operating a school.
Philanthropic support helps Magellan:
- Bring exceptional international educators to Austin. Recruiting native Spanish-speaking teachers from around the world can include immigration, relocation, and other costs that make our faculty community possible.
- Invest deeply in our teachers. As an IB school, Magellan provides substantial ongoing training and professional development so teachers can continually strengthen their practice.
- Expand access to a Magellan education. Giving helps support our commitment to socioeconomic diversity and makes the school accessible to more families.
- Create opportunities beyond the everyday. Philanthropy gives Magellan the flexibility to invest in innovative programs, student experiences, campus improvements, and new ideas as they emerge.

Fall: Each year, Magellan International School conducts a fundraiser, the Magellan Fund, that fuels the the advancement of overall student experience. Family participation is the key to the success of this annual drive, empowering us to continue providing enriching opportunities for our students.
