Itzel Aldana

Assistant Head of Primary
Itzel’s journey as an educator began in Mexico City, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Education and spent five foundational years teaching first grade at Escuela Sierra Nevada. Driven by a commitment to bilingual learning and international education, she relocated to the U.S. to complete her ESL teaching license at the University of Wisconsin before teaching Kindergarten at Kenosha Christian Life School for three years.

Itzel holds a Master’s in Education from the University of the Incarnate Word, complemented by post-graduate work in curriculum review and international education standards. Her classroom experience expanded when she had the opportunity to work during three years as a second-grade lead teacher at the International School of Texas.

For the past eight years, Itzel has brought her passion, expertise, and heart to lead an early childhood Spanish immersion program combining her State of Texas Director’s License with her Montessori Teacher Certification. She believes that educators should be committed to create nurturing, culturally rich environments where learners can grow into confident, global citizens.
